Hello everyone! It's finally Spring time! This past winter was definitely another brutal one. With the new season here, I just wanted to take some time to declutter and share with you all my go-to products from this Winter. I will be discussing beauty products, from skincare to makeup and more. Hope you enjoy!

Skincare

  1. FAB Ultra Repair Cream 'Intense Hydration' and 'Intense Therapy' and minis
  2. FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy
  3. Fresh Sugar Lip Balm
I have been raving about +firstaidbeauty to everyone and anyone. I first discovered them when my sister gifted me a moisturizer two Christmases ago. Their website claims "First Aid Beauty skin care products and makeup target specific skin issues such as eczema, anti-aging, dry skin, and acne while being safe for sensitive skin." Basically targeting all of my problem areas! I have very, very dry, crackling winter skin due to my eczema, yet my skin is also sensitive at the same time. I have been using their facial creams all winter and it has helped my skin so much with battling winter crackling. I loved them so much that I went out to buy mini travel sized ones!
I tend to have very dry lips as well because that it where my eczema is most prominent. I have been loving the FAB lip therapy as well as the Fresh Sugar lip balm. Both are very moisturizing without being too sticky or tacky.

Beauty

  1. +Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer
  2. +Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in 'Custard'
  3. +Tarte 'Smooth Operator' Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder
I always use pore minimizing primers because my pores are huge craters! I love this one and have been using this over my usual Benefit pore minimizer.
I finally gave into the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer hype! I sometimes have dry skin under my eyes due to my eczema, and concealers tend to crack underneath my eye and crease really badly. This concealer was full coverage without the cakiness!
I usually love baking under my eyes after I apply concealer, but my skin there has been especially dry. I found that using the Tarte finishing powder is perfect to set my under eye concealer. It doesn't cake, and is lightweight.
These products I bought in the mini size because I wanted to test them out before buying the full sized product. A good tip when you want to try out something new!

  1. +Hourglass 'Luminous Bronze Light' Bronzer
  2. +Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in 'Paaarty'
  3. +Hourglass 'Luminous Light' Highlight

I usually use matte bronzers as my contour, but I have been using this Hourglass bronzer a lot. I accidentally bought this because I thought it was a highlight (I mean can you blame me? Why is the highlight in the brown packaging and the bronzer in the gold packaging?!) I really like this bronzer because it really warms up my face and gives me a glow that I usually lose in the winter months.
This blush is perfect to pair with the Hourglass bronzer. I have a rule that if I wear a shimmery bronzer, I wear a matte blush. If I were to use a matte contour, then I can use a blush with more shimmer in it. This blush is the perfect color on my skin tone and gives my face a nice natural flush.
I fell in love with this highlight in the winter because my skin gets very, very pale and it was very complimentary with my skin tone. I usually use very golden highlights, but when I am not tan, I find light, champagne colors to look very lovely.

  1. KISS Lash Glue
  2. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
  3. Hourglass GIRL Lip Stylo in 'Believer'
  4. MAC Cremestick Liner in 'Beurre'
I am still trying to perfect my lash routine and applying strip lashes can be quite annoying. I found that this KISS glue dries quickly, clear, and keeps my lashes on all day. It gives my lashes a natural look because it doesn't dry on clumpy.
I have been taking a break on the dramatic wing liner look, but when I wanted to start wearing that again and I found that KVD's Tattoo Liner gives me the perfect wing and is super black.
Call me basic, but I have been wearing nude lips every single day this winter. The past couple of winters I was wearing very dark, sultry, burgundy lippies, but I wasn't feeling it this past season. I picked up this gorgeous nude lipstick from Hourglass and have been using it every other day!
This liner has not only been my winter fav, but my all time favorite liner ever! I use it with so many different nudes, from Whirl to Velvet Teddy from MAC. I found that I have been pairing it with the GIRL Lip Stylo in 'Believer' a lot!

Scents

  1. +Marc Jacobs Beauty 'Daisy' Perfume
  2. Scentsational Candle in 'Winter Nights"
If you know me, you'd know I am obsessed with smelling good. I have always loved Marc Jacob's Daisy, and although it is a more florally spring scent, I thought it gave a nice vibrant smell to the drab winters.
Although this is not beauty, it does go with scents. I love candles and always have one lit in my room to calm me down and relax. This candle is in 'Winter Nights' and it definitely gave a beautiful warm, cozy scent to the room.

I hope you enjoyed my winter beauty favorites!
What were some of your go-to products this past season?
I can't wait to tweak my beauty routine up with the warm weather!
Hope you all have a great day!

Hi loves! I received another complimentary VoxBox from +Influenster ! This one is the Living Proof Restore VoxBox, which contained some hair products for me to try. If you follow me on Snapchat or Instagram you would have seen some stories of me unboxing and trying out these products. Follow me on my social media to keep updated on new posts! I just wanted to note that I have straight, black, silky Asian hair. My hair is not too thin, but it definitely is not thick. I am reviewing this product from my perspective so I cannot say if it will work for everyone. Hopefully it does, but I just wanted to put out what my hair type is for some background of my review. I hope you enjoy!

What's in the box?

So I received 4 items from a hair company called +Living Proof. The stores that you can find this product in are +Sephora, +ultabeauty, +Nordstrom, +Saks Fifth Avenue, and more. They are definitely a more pricier hair company, products ranging from about $15-$30+ each. I personally get most of my hair products from Target, so it is a big difference in my opinion.
This VoxBox contained the following:
  1. Shampoo
  2. Conditioner
  3. Hair Mask
  4. Perfecting Spray
The packaging was super cute, coming in a lavender box,  matching the theme of this product line, which is Restore. This collection claims that, "When used together as a system (Restore Shampoo, Conditioner & Mask), Restore helps dry, damaged hair look and feel visibly healthier." (LivingProof) I also wanted to mention that all four of the products had a very nice fragrance! I'm not even sure how to describe it, but it almost smells like a florally scent, maybe perhaps lavender? The smell is quite strong, but it doesn't linger too long. I personally loved how it made my hair smell!

The Shampoo and Conditioner

I want to be completely honest when doing reviews. These two products did not wow me initially. Maybe because right before using them, I had already implemented a new hair care routine and noticed that my shampoo and conditioner from Target worked a lot better for what I personally was looking for in these specific hair products. As I kept using them throughout the rest of the week, I did find that my hair felt a lot healthier and their claims were pretty accurate. Most shampoos feel like they are stripping the natural oils in my hair, leaving it pretty limp and thin. This shampoo and conditioner duo made my hair feel a lot fuller to the touch. I just feel that there are other products that work just as well for a much better price, especially since these are products most people use a lot of on a daily basis.
Would I recommend?
Maybe 👀 . I do find that they are pricey for something you can find a dupe for in your local beauty supply store or even Target. Maybe if you wanted to switch up your hair routine once in awhile!

The Hair Mask

I was so excited to use this product! I love a good hair mask and am always looking for new ones to try. My main concerns when looking for a hair treatment are fullness, repair damage, and conditioning. This mask did just that. I found that it is kind of like a deep conditioner, but not as heavy as other masks I've used. At first I said to myself, "This is just a regular conditioner", but after using it, I really felt a difference in my hair, notably my ends! I cannot say it would work for someone with thicker hair, because it is not that thick of a hair mask, but hey, you never know! I personally liked it and I wished the container was bigger, so I may just have to get the full-sized jar!
Would I recommend?
Yes! I cannot speak for all hair types, but I do feel that my ends got some lovin'!

The 'Perfecting' Spray

This is the new spray that came out in this line, and I was dying to try it. I grew up always using leave-in conditioner spray due to the frizziness/static of my hair, so I was really looking forward to trying this one. I was so surprised when I opened up the package and found that they gave me the full-sized product (8oz/236mL), which retails for $28! I have been using this spray everyday since I have received it, and there is so much product in the bottle. I use it for a variety of different things. One way I use it is spraying it straight out of the shower to detangle my hair. It also acts as a heat protectant, so it's great to spritz it on before blow drying. I also like to spray some as finishing touches to my hair to keep it sleek, shiny, and frizz-free. The company claims that it is universal and ideal for all hair types, so that's a plus!
Would I recommend?
Yes! Perfect for touch-ups and rejuvenating your hair!

I hope you all enjoyed my review on Living Proof's 'Restore' collection! Comment below if you have tried any of their products or are planning to! See you next time!

I received these products complimentary for
testing purposes from Influenster x Living Proof.
Hi loves! I wanted to do a new series of skin-care blog posts that go live on Sundays. Now I wouldn't have a post for every Sunday, but maybe once a month. I wanted to do this because as much as I love makeup, I feel that skin-care is an important part of it. I always feel better about putting on make up when I have a clear and clean foundation to put it on. And as much as I wear makeup, it is always good to give my skin some TLC. Enjoy!

Today's post will be my first impression and review on the infamous Glam Glow mask. I purchased the "Youth Mud tingle-exfoliate treatment mask" from BeautyKind and was given a discount code from @macdesertrose on Twitter for $25 off. The price of the mask was $69 and with the discount, free shipping, and no added tax, it came out to be $44. What I loved about ordering from BeautyKind is that a percentage of my purchase went to a cause of my choice, and I decided to donate to the American Diabetes Association. My order also included three free samples of Juara cleaners, moisturizer, and eye creme, which I am also excited to use!

There are may different ranges of the Glam Glow mask depending on your skin's needs. I got this mask in particular because it claims to brighten dull skin and make it softer and smoother. I felt that my skin has been dull this past winter, so I wanted something to bring back my glow.

The mask takes about 10-15 minutes to dry and has a gritty texture to it. When it dries, you apply water and rub it out and use it to exfoliate any dead skin, then wash it off. I loved how exfoliating it is because I feel that it rubs off the dull, dead skin and leaves my skin much brighter. There isn't a whole lot of product in the jars, and for the price, it is quite expensive. But I really love the feel and results of this product and may even try out the other ones in the Glam Glow line. All in all, I really enjoyed this mask and would definitely re-purchase when I run out!

I hope you enjoyed my mini review on this mask! I hope this inspires you all to make sure you take some time out of your busy lives to give your skin some TLC and relaxation time. Stress shows on your face, so kick back on a Sunday afternoon, make yourself some tea, and put on a face mask!

Happy first of the month! I wanted to do something different for this month's #PlanWithMe and show you guys a blogger I have been raving about. Her name is Alli and her blog is Scattered Squirrel and I love using her free planner printables to change up my planner up a bit. Her free print-outs are super cute and keep me organized. She has a variety of different printables, ranging from monthly, weekly, daily, and even time management print outs. I especially like her print-outs because she provides half-size printables, which is perfect for me because all I use are smaller planners!

I decided to do what I usually do, filling in my big calendar and then also the planner with important things and deadlines. I just filled in assignments, appointments, plans, and more. I decided to be more active this month and I have been working out about 3-4 times a week, but I want to consistently go 4 days. I will also be using my spring break as a time to reorganize and do some spring cleaning. I like to color coordinate my responsibilities by using different colored ink.

I decided that I need more weekly organization. I usually focus on what I need to do monthly, but I find that throughout the specific days, things come up, and I forget them. So I thought that the weekly two page spread was perfect for what I need right now. This way, I can list all the things I need to do throughout the days, like listing assignments and deadlines on the right side. The left side of this weekly two page spread will help me keep track on what I need to prioritize and accomplish for the week. This way, I can make sure I am on track from my daily life to school.

I hope this post inspired you guys to reorganize your clutter and consider your spring cleaning routine now. Definitely stop by Scattered Squirrel's blog for some planner inspo! Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you all have a great March!!
