Hi loves! I just posted my look book from this past weekend so I thought I'd also post a #FoodPorn blog on what I ate during my birthday weekend as well! On the day of my actual birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with a weekend stay at Night Hotel at Times Square. That evening, he set up reservations for us at Tender, a steak and sushi restaurant. Saturday evening we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp, which we both never went to before. Finally on Sunday, I went to Maggiano's with some friends. I hope you enjoy some of this #FoodPorn!

The opted to get sushi as our appetizer, pictured in the back was one of their specials of the night, the 'Rock'n Roll' Roll (forgetting what exactly was in it, but it was DELICIOUS!) Along with that, we got a spicy salmon roll. For my entree, I got another special they had for the night, which was a seafood pasta. It has shrimp, calamari, scallops, and mussels all in a tomato sauce. My boyfriend got the chicken parmesan, which was surprisingly so good! I expected it to be basic, it is just chicken parm, but was very crispy, yet juicy! We ended our dinner with some Hennessy VSOP.
The decor of the hotel that the restaurant was in was kind of like a Southeast Asian/Buddhist inspired look, which I really loved and took plenty of snaps of! Was warm and welcoming, would definitely come back!

Bubba Gump Shrimp

We started off with their Original and Surfside Coronaritas and calamari as an appetizer. For my entree, I got 'Forrest's Seafood Feast', which came with fish & chips, fried shrimp, and seafood hush puppies. My boyfriend got the 'Texas Cajun Chicken Sandwich', which came with guac on the sandwich and fries on the side. We finished with the 'Best of the Best Sampler; The Hook, Line, and Sinker ' which came with warm bread pudding, homemade strawberry biscuit, and chocolate chip cookie all served with ice-cream and whipped cream! So goood!
Maggiano's Little Italy
My sister and I opted to do 'Marco's Meal for Two', which comes with an appetizer, two pastas for there, two pastas to go, and one dessert. We got the Tomato Caprese as our appetizer. We both got the same pastas, Gina getting the Taylor Street Baked Ziti for there and I got it to go. I got the Fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms for there and Gina got the same to go. We got the Warm Apple Crostada as our dessert, and the restaurant was nice enough to give me free lemon cookies with candles as my birthday dessert as well!
