Hi my loves! I know it's been a long while since I've posted, but life has been happening swiftly after graduation. I will be updating you all on what's been going on, but today I have a very exciting post! +Influenster has blessed me yet again with another complimentary VoxBox! I was given the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD VoxBox!  I was so excited to receive this box because it comes with the MUFE Ultra HD Foundation.
Who doesn't love to try out new foundations?!
Keep reading it you want to find out what this foundation is all about!

The Color

I received the color Y365 Desert in the full 30 mL bottle. I also received two small samples in the color Y445 Amber and Y505 Cognac, which are a darker than my foundation shade. Desert was a great match to my skin. During the summertime I am a bit darker, so it did come off a bit lighter. I know that it will definitely be my go to foundation during the colder months because I am lighter in the wintertime. Amber and Cognac are beautiful colors to use for contouring on my skin tone. Amber being a bit lighter than cognac, but when mixed together, it creates a beautiful bronze contour! I have yellow undertones so naturally I would want a foundation with yellow undertones too. It matched perfectly!

The Application/Coverage

It applied effortlessly and beautifully! I applied it two ways, one being straight on with my beauty blender, and the other way with a foundation brush. Both worked well with this foundation. It was easy to blend out and it medium coverage, but is definitely build-able for a more full coverage look. I did my usual face prep like I always do before applying this foundation. I prefer painting on the foundation with a flat foundation brush and blending it out with my beauty blender. If I want a more full coverage look, then I will repeat the steps once more to build the product up without caking it on.

The Feel

I love the lightweight feel of this foundation. It reminds me a lot of my favorite foundation, Nars Sheer Glow, which gives a lightweight and dewy finish. It wasn't cakey or felt like it clogged my pores at all. It is always a good thing when a foundation gives you coverage but also allows your skin to breathe. Even when layering on more foundation, it still doesn't feel heavy on the skin! It feels natural on the skin and it didn't cause me to break out. I get nervous trying out new face products because my skin is sensitive, but I did not have to worry about it with this product!

The Finish

I have seen people say that it is "slippery" and slides on the face, because it is a more dewy finish rather than matte. I personally love this type of foundation because my skin is dry. If you have oily skin, you may want to use a matte primer and more powder to keep it from "slipping". The finish is beautiful and it gives my skin a bit of a glow to it! I finish my face up with my usual routine; contour, blush, highlight and I'm done!

Overall I really like this foundation and will be using it more in my daily routine during the wintertime! I feel that it will give my skin the glow I lack at times and give me that "'no-makeup' makeup look". If I wanted a more full coverage beat, then I'll just add more foundation and I'm ready to take on the night!
I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on this product!
Wedding season is one of my favorite times of the year! I love seeing love! Sharing intimate moments such as these are what I live for, and Summer weddings are my absolute favorite. The only problem? What do I wear?! Now I've only been to traditional Cambodian-style weddings, but I always find it difficult to find an appropriate outfit for this occasion. Over the years, I find that people are attending these weddings in less traditional outfits, and more Americanized and modern looks. I was given the idea from my friends over at +The Black Tux for this post and they even have a wedding guest style guide that helped me, and could help you on your next event! Here is an idea of what I would wear if I were attending a summer wedding!

The first outfit was inspired by the style guide's "Semiformal, Dressy Casual" look. I opted to go with this beautiful, green flowy dress which I thought would be perfect for the summertime. I paired it with some strappy nude heels, which gives this look a little bit of edginess. I think that green pairs very well with gold, so I chose these gold stud earrings and this gorgeous floral, gold clutch. For my hair, I would go for big messy waves or even a loose braid. For my makeup, I would go with a more muted, natural look. I would do a light brown smokey eye, natural false lashes, and nude lips!
For my second outfit, I went with the "Black Tie/Black Tie Optional" look. Because this is more of a summer wedding look, I chose to go with a non-traditional cocktail dress, which is why I picked this floral, embroidered cocktail dress. I love embroidery and I find that it is coming back this season and more designers, such as Gucci, has really been using embroidery on their Spring/Summer lines. I think the floral print gives this look a nice twist on the usual "Little Black Dress" and makes it perfect for a Summer wedding! Because the dress is quite busy, I chose pointy, black patent heels. For a short girl like me, pointy-toed heels elongate your legs, and with the structure of the dress, it will be sure to make you look taller! I picked out this light, blush pink clutch with a bow on it because it ties into some of the flowers on the dress. I went with simple silver hoops because I feel that the dress is the main attraction of this outfit! For my hair, I would go with a more sleek look, doing either pin straight hair, a tight ponytail, or a loose bun. For my makeup, I can be a bit edgier and do a bold winged-liner and red lips.

Below is the style-guide that I used to inspire these looks for me. The Black Tux created it to help ensure that picking out an outfit will be one less worry for you. It describes the type of outfit needed for each different occasion and style of wedding. It is helpful to not only us ladies, but especially the gentlemen out there. Be sure to dress to impress my friends!

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my blog! I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. Hope you all have a fruitful Summer, full of joy, happiness, and love!
Hello my friends! I am super excited about this blogpost because my friends over at +AdoreMe reached out to me about a collaboration project they have. I put together romantic date night outfits that I would wear using inspiration from their intimate collection. I hope you all enjoy what I put together for my "Summertime Fine" date night looks! All of the outfits were created via the Polyvore app. (All the bra and panty sets have links to them, just hover over the name and it will take you to the website!)
Here is the LINK to their main page!

When Adore Me, reached out to be about this collaboration, they asked me the question:
"What makes you feel the most sexy and confident?"
To me, confidence isn't about showing off more, it is about what you are most comfortable in. (not saying there is anything wrong with some skin! 😉 ) When going out on dates or just hanging with my friends, my most important factor to having fun is also being comfortable. The outfits I picked out along with the lingerie is all my style, and what makes me feel sexy!

For my first look, I went for a "Pretty in Pink" theme, which was inspired by AdoreMe's Kaeleigh Bra. I love wearing blush pink tones during the spring and summertime. I think it is so flattering on every skin tone! This is an outfit I would wear to a brunch date with my girlfriends in the city! I love how classy, yet flirty this look is. I love the geometric structure of this top, I think it makes it look very unique. I paired it with these blue floral bottoms because I felt the outfit needed a pop of pattern. For my shoes and accessories, I chose to go with the blush pink theme to pull everything together! From Adore Me, I chose the Kaeleigh bra and panty set because the bra is also strapless, which is perfect for this one shoulder top!

My second look is more of a casual picnic-in-the-park look! I love the off shoulder dress and would pair it would some brown sandals and my cross body YSL Blogger Bag. This is both comfy, and cute, which is perfect for a stroll in the park and some lunch with a view! I paired it with the FeeFee Push-Up Bra bra, which is also strapless and perfect for off-the-shoulder tops/dresses. I love the sexy lace that this set has, and will be sure to make me feel confident in my own skin, even if no one sees!

For my final look, I went for a more night-life outfit. I went for a darker, more mysterious and grungy ensemble. Whenever I go for all black looks, I love to pair them with bright accessories to bring out pops of colors. I paired this lace-sleeved crop top with this unique, distressed skirt. For my accessories, I have this bright red shoulder bag and cobalt blue strappy heels. I think this outfit will make me feel very sexy and confident and ready for a night out! For my underthings, I was inspired by the Becky Set! I thought that this bra was so sexy, and who could go wrong with black lace?! Maybe my boo-thang will get a sneak peak after a night out. 😉

I hope you guys enjoyed the outfits I put together! All the links to the Adore Me sets are linked in the names. Be sure to check them out! And remember, to dress to your own comfortability. Do not let anyone tell you what you can and cannot wear. As long as YOU are comfortable in your own skin, that is all that matters. When you FEEL sexy, you LOOK sexy. Radiate Confidence !

Hello everyone! I have a HUGE haul and look book for you all today! I picked up some items from one of my favorite stores, Zara, and a new Asian online shop my sister showed me, SammyDress. These outfits are something that I would wear in transition from cold to warm weather. I find that I can pair the individual items with boots, sandals, shorts, and even skirts. I tried to find key pieces that would be easy to wear with the change of weather, but still be something I can wear at night when it is still cold. In some of the outfits, I pair them with different bags and shoes to give an idea of how I would wear them personally. I hope this inspires you!

Outfit #1

SammyDress Sweater - I really loved the cut and style of this sweater!
Fashion Nova Jeans
SammyDress Gold Studded Booties - My favorite purchase from SD. Looks very expensive and reminds me of Saint Laurent boots, but I only paid $9!

Outfit #2

Zara Bell Sleeve Sweater - It is so ridiculously soft and comfy!
Fashion Nova Jeans
Target Booties

Outfit #3

Zara Floral Embellished Button-Up - I think this top is amazing. I love it so much and it's nice to wear with the transition in weather!
Fashion Nova Jeans
SammyDress Gold Studded Booties
EyeBuyDirect Prescription Glasses
Burgundy Sandal Heels
YSL Blogger Bag
Louis Vuitton Neverfull Pochette

Outfit #4

Top from Marshalls
SammyDress Nude High-Waisted Trousers
Burgundy Sandal Heels

Outfit #5

Zara Forest Green Cut-Out Dress - I love the color and cut of this dress. It is also really good quality! It is one of the dresses I wore for my Birthday weekend!
SammyDress Gold Studded Booties
SammyDress Gray Suede Over-the-Knee Boots - Love these boots so much! It looks just like my other pair from ShopNoraChanel, but was only $11! They are a bit snug around the calves, so if you have thicker legs, you may want to be careful before purchasing from an Asian site like this.

Outfit #6

SammyDress Striped Floral T-Shirt Dress - I really love the transition from winter to spring with this look. I can pair this dress with strappy sandals and it'll be perfect!
SammyDress Gray Suede Boots

Outfit #7

SammyDress Floral T-Shirt Dress - Like the previous piece, I could pair this with sandals and it would be great for summer time! For going out at night, I would pair with tall boots since the weather is still iffy.
SammyDress Gray Suede Boots

Outfit #8

Zara Black Ribbon Sleeve Dress - I got this dress for only $30 and it is such high quality! The shoulders have a bit of structure to it and it is so flattering on any silhouette. The sleeves are bell sleeves, but come with ties to make into a bow, which gives a different twist on the classic Little Black Dress!
Louis Vuitton Neverfull Pochette
Simmi Shoes Fuchsia Heels

I know that was a lot! But I definitely have been trying to expand my wardrobe and selling/donating a lot of my old clothes. It's nice to re-up your closet and knowing what pieces will get a lot of wear.
I hope you all have a great May!

DISCLAIMER: SammyDress is an Asian clothing company, which means their sizing and quality is not always true to size/description. I had to return a handful of items due to them being too small for me, even though I ordered a large! I would not recommend purchasing their shirts/pants unless you are a petite size. I opted to keep the shirt dresses because they were an oversized fit. Again, if you have thicker legs, the over-the-knee boots may not work for you. Customer service was a bit confusing, but they get back to you within the day.

Hello everyone! It's finally Spring time! This past winter was definitely another brutal one. With the new season here, I just wanted to take some time to declutter and share with you all my go-to products from this Winter. I will be discussing beauty products, from skincare to makeup and more. Hope you enjoy!

Skincare

  1. FAB Ultra Repair Cream 'Intense Hydration' and 'Intense Therapy' and minis
  2. FAB Ultra Repair Lip Therapy
  3. Fresh Sugar Lip Balm
I have been raving about +firstaidbeauty to everyone and anyone. I first discovered them when my sister gifted me a moisturizer two Christmases ago. Their website claims "First Aid Beauty skin care products and makeup target specific skin issues such as eczema, anti-aging, dry skin, and acne while being safe for sensitive skin." Basically targeting all of my problem areas! I have very, very dry, crackling winter skin due to my eczema, yet my skin is also sensitive at the same time. I have been using their facial creams all winter and it has helped my skin so much with battling winter crackling. I loved them so much that I went out to buy mini travel sized ones!
I tend to have very dry lips as well because that it where my eczema is most prominent. I have been loving the FAB lip therapy as well as the Fresh Sugar lip balm. Both are very moisturizing without being too sticky or tacky.

Beauty

  1. +Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer
  2. +Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in 'Custard'
  3. +Tarte 'Smooth Operator' Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder
I always use pore minimizing primers because my pores are huge craters! I love this one and have been using this over my usual Benefit pore minimizer.
I finally gave into the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer hype! I sometimes have dry skin under my eyes due to my eczema, and concealers tend to crack underneath my eye and crease really badly. This concealer was full coverage without the cakiness!
I usually love baking under my eyes after I apply concealer, but my skin there has been especially dry. I found that using the Tarte finishing powder is perfect to set my under eye concealer. It doesn't cake, and is lightweight.
These products I bought in the mini size because I wanted to test them out before buying the full sized product. A good tip when you want to try out something new!

  1. +Hourglass 'Luminous Bronze Light' Bronzer
  2. +Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in 'Paaarty'
  3. +Hourglass 'Luminous Light' Highlight

I usually use matte bronzers as my contour, but I have been using this Hourglass bronzer a lot. I accidentally bought this because I thought it was a highlight (I mean can you blame me? Why is the highlight in the brown packaging and the bronzer in the gold packaging?!) I really like this bronzer because it really warms up my face and gives me a glow that I usually lose in the winter months.
This blush is perfect to pair with the Hourglass bronzer. I have a rule that if I wear a shimmery bronzer, I wear a matte blush. If I were to use a matte contour, then I can use a blush with more shimmer in it. This blush is the perfect color on my skin tone and gives my face a nice natural flush.
I fell in love with this highlight in the winter because my skin gets very, very pale and it was very complimentary with my skin tone. I usually use very golden highlights, but when I am not tan, I find light, champagne colors to look very lovely.

  1. KISS Lash Glue
  2. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
  3. Hourglass GIRL Lip Stylo in 'Believer'
  4. MAC Cremestick Liner in 'Beurre'
I am still trying to perfect my lash routine and applying strip lashes can be quite annoying. I found that this KISS glue dries quickly, clear, and keeps my lashes on all day. It gives my lashes a natural look because it doesn't dry on clumpy.
I have been taking a break on the dramatic wing liner look, but when I wanted to start wearing that again and I found that KVD's Tattoo Liner gives me the perfect wing and is super black.
Call me basic, but I have been wearing nude lips every single day this winter. The past couple of winters I was wearing very dark, sultry, burgundy lippies, but I wasn't feeling it this past season. I picked up this gorgeous nude lipstick from Hourglass and have been using it every other day!
This liner has not only been my winter fav, but my all time favorite liner ever! I use it with so many different nudes, from Whirl to Velvet Teddy from MAC. I found that I have been pairing it with the GIRL Lip Stylo in 'Believer' a lot!

Scents

  1. +Marc Jacobs Beauty 'Daisy' Perfume
  2. Scentsational Candle in 'Winter Nights"
If you know me, you'd know I am obsessed with smelling good. I have always loved Marc Jacob's Daisy, and although it is a more florally spring scent, I thought it gave a nice vibrant smell to the drab winters.
Although this is not beauty, it does go with scents. I love candles and always have one lit in my room to calm me down and relax. This candle is in 'Winter Nights' and it definitely gave a beautiful warm, cozy scent to the room.

I hope you enjoyed my winter beauty favorites!
What were some of your go-to products this past season?
I can't wait to tweak my beauty routine up with the warm weather!
Hope you all have a great day!
